1. Acceptance of Terms
Welcome to RedZone.co (the “Site”), owned and operated by RedZone Software LLC (“RedZone,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our Site, including our secure client portals, APIs, and wildfire intelligence services (collectively, the “Services”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”).
If you are accessing these Services on behalf of an organization (such as an insurance carrier or risk management firm), you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Secure Client Portals & Authentication
Access to certain portions of the Services, including proprietary risk data and modeling tools, is restricted to authorized clients via secure portals.
2.1 Auth0 Single Sign-On (SSO)
We utilize Auth0 to provide secure Single Sign-On (SSO) authentication. By using our Services, you agree to the following:
- Credential Security: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your SSO credentials. You may not share, transfer, or sublicense your access credentials to any third party.
- Authorized Access: Access is strictly limited to the individual user authenticated via Auth0. Simultaneous logins or shared group accounts are prohibited unless explicitly authorized in writing.
- Notification: You must notify RedZone immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security.
2.2 Revocation of Access
RedZone reserves the right to suspend or terminate your access to the secure portals immediately if we detect suspicious activity, such as multiple failed login attempts, access from unauthorized locations, or evidence of credential sharing.
3. Confidentiality & Proprietary Data
The secure client portals contain Confidential Information, which includes but is not limited to: proprietary wildfire risk scores, burn probability models, real-time event intelligence, and specific policyholder risk assessments.
3.1 Use of Confidential Information
You agree to:
- Use Confidential Information solely for your internal business purposes (e.g., underwriting, portfolio management, or claims processing) as permitted by your Master Services Agreement (MSA) or subscription plan.
- Not disclose, publish, or disseminate RedZone’s proprietary data to third parties without prior written consent.
- Not reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the underlying algorithms or models from the Services.
4. Nature of Wildfire Intelligence (Disclaimer)
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY: The Services provide predictive modeling and risk intelligence regarding natural disasters. You acknowledge that:
- Predictive Nature: Wildfire behavior is inherently unpredictable. RedZone’s models, risk scores, and alerts are based on available data and scientific modeling but are not guarantees of safety or future events.
- Informational Purposes Only: The Services are provided for informational and decision-support purposes only. They should not be the sole basis for life-safety decisions or the complete denial of insurance coverage without human review.
- “As Is” Basis: The Services are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.
5. Intellectual Property
All content, features, and functionality on the Site (including text, graphics, logos, interactive maps, and software code) are the exclusive property of RedZone Software LLC and are protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.
6. User Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Site to transmit any material that is defamatory, obscene, or infringing on intellectual property rights.
- Use any automated system (robots, spiders, scrapers) to access the Site or extract data without our express written permission.
- Attempt to bypass the Auth0 authentication mechanisms or interfere with the proper working of the Site.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RedZone Software LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of your use of or inability to use the Services, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
8. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this Site and updating the “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services following such changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
