DEVOPS ENGINEER
RedZone Software is actively seeking a motivated, proactive individual to join our team as a DevOps Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Infrastructure as Code (IaC), extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), and be proficient in Python. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure, optimizing our deployment processes, and ensuring the highest levels of system availability and efficiency.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, implement, and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Pulumi (Pulumi preferred).
- Manage and optimize AWS services, ensuring efficient and cost-effective use of resources across multiple AWS accounts.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment.
- Work closely with development teams to deploy and manage Frontend and Backend applications (Python, Flask, FastAPI) efficiently.
- Have experience with distributed micro service architectures (AWS EventBridge, SQS, PostgreSQL).
- Implement and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to ensure high availability and proactive issue resolution (DataDog).
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and provide DevOps solutions.
- Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies to improve the development and deployment processes.
- Ensure security best practices are followed throughout the infrastructure and application lifecycle.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Strong experience with AWS services and management.
- Proficient in writing Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Experience in Python programming, particularly with the FastAPI framework.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, CircleCI, or Github Actions.
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools like Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, DataDog, etc.
- Understanding of network and security fundamentals.
